How Our Business Began
As Mindy’s daughter entered preschool, Terry and Mindy saw an opportunity to blend their professional skills. With Terry’s extensive experience as a career bookkeeper and Mindy’s background as a CPA, they decided to launch a part-time consulting business together. Working independently from their own homes, they each worked to assist seniors, busy professionals, and entrepreneurs, on an as-needed basis. This venture was more than just a business—it was a way to share family obligations while each contributing professionally.
As the business grew, their client base shifted focus to small businesses and non-profit organizations. Terry and Mindy elected to hire other bookkeepers and accountants seeking the same part-time work-life balance, thus offering them the chance to excel in their careers while balancing their own outside commitments and interests.
Today, Mindy leads our team full-time, as her children are now independent adults. Terry provides strategic guidance, when she’s not heading a volunteer committee, meeting friends for lunch, or travelling. They continue to foster a work environment where finding a balance of personal and professional lives is encouraged.
